Happy New Year!
Your feedback and positive energy made our first quarter in our new home at 312 West 4th more than we could have hoped. We hosted private events for a handful of non-profit organizations, holiday parties for a couple of pretty well-healed women’s clubs, a standing room only Concert Nova coffee fueled concert and the works of modern artist Mary Barr Rhodes. If that weren’t enough, Switch became holiday card central for some. Fred and Lydia captured our livable modern vibe in these dynamic images by Stereoscope Photography:
And now this…a feature in Venue Magazine! With 10,000 subscribers reading about our new destination, we expect to make a boatload of new friends…and customers.
We’d love to host your event. Call us at (513) 421-1901 or email Bertie. We’ll certainly make it memorable.
Today Switch is pleased to be hosting the 2015 DAAP Industrial Design Students from University of Cincinnati. For the past few years, Switch has been taking part in the student’s final project by way of offering our lighting knowledge and expertise. The project is for the students to create their own unique lighting fixture. Here’s a few from the past year we loved:
Be sure to stop into the showroom tonight (Friday, April 24) between 6:00 and 9:00 PM to check out the student’s work as well as meet them and discuss their works!
The Globe Building that now houses People’s Liberty has been open for a week or two at this point. Switch is proud to have provided the lighting for this wonderful space. Today we want to highlight some of the main features we provided!
This space in the kitchen is meant for ‘family dinners’. It features a cluster of Graypants Scraplights. Scraplights are made up of recycled card board, and are created ins Seattle. They add a nice texture to this lovely space!
Pleat Box, Scotch Club’s brother, is hanging in a cluster of various colors and sizes over the conference table. The repeating ceramic fixtures through out the space help to keep the whole building integrated.
If you haven’t stopped by to see the restored Globe Building yet, you really should!

The Cincinnati Business Courier recently covered the newly renovated Globe Building at the corner of Elm and Elder streets in Findlay Market.
Switch is proud to have worked along side City Studios to create the space and provide our wonderful lighting!

This past week has been a calm one compared to the busy bustling of the Home & Garden Show going on the past two weeks. While we’re glad to have a bit of a break, we also miss seeing all of our friends and making new ones at the show! Take a look at some of our photos we took during the 2015 Home & Garden show:
Tomorrow marks the first day of this year’s Cincinnati Home & Garden Show! We’ve been very busy setting up our booth and getting everything ready for you all!
Inspired by the feathers of a tropical bird, Plumage is sure to be a showstopper! It is available in various solid colors, or even a multicolored version, which is the one we chose to headline our booth! Take a look at part of the install process we’ve been working so hard on:
We hope to see all your wonderful faces at the show this weekend! We’re booth number 1201, so be sure to stop by and check out the PLumage and all our other fantastic fixtures. You can even stop into our showroom during regular business hours to pick up $6 DISCOUNT TICKETS! Call us at (513)721-8100 for any questions you may have.
